You must have memories of being very young growing up in that society

and having the Army sort of presented to you as this is your future.

Do you remember what your initial impressions were in kindergarten

or when it ever was that you became cognizant that this was your destiny?

I would say that I cannot really remember.

I mean, in all of the ceremonies as a child,

I was extremely bored.

They never cared for standing a lot of time

and like remembering, it's Hakrabin and then

remember that you have like so many remember days in Israel.

Yeah, as a child, it didn't really concern me.

Also, the protests that my parents used to take me to

didn't concern me. I just wanted to do child things, yeah. But it seems normal.

I mean, seeing like a parent in uniform with a gun coming to pick up their child from kindergarten,

seemed normal. And every year standing in remembrance when the siren,

on Remembrance Day blurs, seemed normal.

And having, like, all these different soldiers come and visit your school

because it used to be their school and they were nostalgic,

seemed normal, like guns and uniforms and all of that seemed just the norm, because it is the norm.

I would say that now, like, a lot of times during the past two years, I have a lot of, like,

nostalgic memories for that Israeli childhood that I had, like being in the car on Friday,

buying khala, listening to Eric Einstein, one famous Israeli singer on the radio.
