Thank you. Today is Wednesday, and of Wednesday, and of course, we have a teaser for upcoming episodes, but this is also a special announcement and an introduction to a whole new series that were beginning. We ended the Summer of Scholars

1:01.9

series, which I think is one of my most favorite series doing, getting to talk to so many

1:06.6

different scholars. And this is sort of a corollary series to that. A couple of months ago,

1:14.0

Professor Carolyn McNamara of the University of Glasgow emailed me with some questions,

1:21.2

comments, and feedback about some episodes that I had done previously, and we were going to

2:03.3

going to enjoy this whole series being led by a professional scholar. We'll learn more about Dr. McNamara

2:11.8

as we progress, and we're going to learn a lot about the Christianity in a very specific time and place and how it evolved

2:20.8

and how it interacted with the church in Rome, the church in the Norman French areas,

2:27.4

and the church that was developing in Anglo-Saxon and Viking areas, very exciting stuff.
