Many years ago when I was a student, I got basically a very friendly invite from an acquaintance of mine're like you know what they're also

doctor like you can come with me in the clinic and I can show you how to do some

stuff and one of the things that he wanted to do was a CITES tap which is

basically when you have fluid buildup in the abdominal cavity and then you

basically put a needle and you drain it, then being incredibly simplistic just to, for the

story sake. But yeah and I had to do this at like 2 in the morning. On this old old very out of it man he didn't know what was going on and it was a very cold day I remember and the clinic or any hospital just anywhere in the world is always

freezing I don't know why it's either freezing or it's like hellfire it's never

comfortable so I do the tap and I started getting the fluid out and immediately afterwards I'm like,

oh, what is this pleasant sensation?

And I realize that all this warm acidity fluid is dripping out to my socks.

Oh shit.

And it took me maybe two minutes of that to realize because it was the first time I was doing it. I was so

so I was so focused on the technique that I didn't notice. That's fucking

that's number one another time. This is also years ago.

Or not years ago, but it was a while ago.

I go to do a spinal tap on a patient in the emergency ward.
