This is yet again an example of Trump openly committing a crime, leaving an evidence trail

behind him. There have been a lot of legal maneuvers since then, but she's hinted that she's

going to indict him. My worry is more not that she's not going to indict him, but that the

indictment, like all the other indictments, won't have teeth. That the charges won't be

great enough to actually contain him as a threat, which is the point.

Like, I'm not interested in these little popcorn chewing ra ra or side one kind of

superficial conversations about this. This is an active national security crisis that should

be curved at the highest level by the DOJ because it's not. It's now going to Fanny Willis,

who seems to be doing her part. I just worry that it's not enough and that the massive defense

team of Donald Trump, who has surrounded himself with a lawyer goon squad for his entire life.

You know, people who are a combination of lawyers and criminal operatives, people like Roy

Cohn and Michael Cohen and his many people on his current legal team, that they will find a way

to weasel out of whatever charges are brought and he will continue his tactics of running out the

clock evading real consequences. And then of course, if he runs for president wins again or if a

friend of his, say, Rondesontes, runs for president and wins, then they do the ultimate authoritarian

maneuver, which is to rewrite the law so that the law will exonerate them even though they are guilty

of the crime. So in short, you know, this is a giant systemic crisis and people need to pick it apart

in that way instead of, you know, focusing narrowly on one jurisdiction or another. But I,
