It is me, your host, Haley Rawl, and I have had some internet beef that I can't get off my mind,

that I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about that we're going to break down together today.

This particular beef, if I can even call it that, it feels a bit

more one-sided from their end, but it is with a person called the blonde apologist. I'm going to get

into who this person is, everything that happened, but just in a nutshell, in summary, I made a video

talking about the fact

that the church is now paying influencers to share their testimonies, and then this person responded

to my video. And I saw her response. I wasn't looking to engage any further, so I made a couple of

comments, and I left it at that. But since then,

I've had a lot more thoughts and feelings and thought that there was no better place to share

those things than here on the Patreon. Before we begin, I do want to say that if you're new around

here, I have a couple rules of engagement for Mormon apologists.

And I don't love using the word apologists because it feels like not the nicest thing to call someone who's talking about their religion,

but this person is self-proclaimedly so, so we're going to roll with it.

I try not to engage unless I have been called out specifically,

me, Girls Camp Podcast, me by name, or my face is shown, or if the person is talking directly

about ex-Mormons. Like if they're making a point about ex-Mormons, you know, ex-Mormons left

the church, they can't leave the church alone, ex-Mormons are so know, ex-Mormons left the church. They can't leave the church alone.

Ex-Mormons are so disrespectful. So that's what I try my best to do. I just think I'm out here on

the internet sharing my thoughts, feelings, and opinions against the church. I think people have

every right to share their thoughts, feelings, opinions about the church. I don't really find it very
