Welcome back to the exemplars. Today we are talking about teams that are having a rough go of it

this season. It's been three weeks starting to get some more data points on what's going on.

We can figure out what teams are struggling in and what areas because now we have some trends to look at.

So we're going to get into it with my good pal, Keegan Abdu, from next gen stats,

and then all the way we go.

We're going to get into midi-gritty. We're going to have some laughs. We're going to poke some

funds at teams along the way. To do that, I've got my friend Keegan Abdu with me, next gen stats,

NFL, Keegan, how are you doing today, man? I'm doing well. It's a little bit less sleep than I'd

want in week three already, but we're powering on and hopefully as we get a little bit more

accumated into our workflow, start to get to cut down those hours on the weeks, we'll see.

Just to give you some credibility, can you tell people what you do over at next gen stats?

Sure. So I'm a manager of data analytics at next gen stats. What I work on is we are

main responsibilities in season are working with broadcast crews. We provide them these big

research packets before the game, kind of breaking down the matchup from a next gen stats

perspective, and then we're working with them in game to get our stats within the flow of the

broadcast as much as possible and add context to the broadcast as well. So that's our main

responsibilities in the offseason. We build cool models like pressure probability,

give the tease that a little bit, build dashboards that are media clients within the NFL, all the

broadcast partners can access both live for live data and for their own pregame research.
