Before we ask and answer the biggest questions ahead of Summer League,

which starts this weekend, we got to start with Team USA who beat Canada

in a scrimmage on Wednesday night. There are a few things to take away from this

game. I thought USA looked rusty on offense early in the game, too many

turnovers, things like that, missed a bunch of shots, but I really like the effort on defense.

I like their effort on the boards, and that to me is the stuff that really stands out.

If that stuff is there, that's usually the kind of thing that kind of bites team USA is when they're not doing the hustle things or relying too much on just their singular talent but I liked the effort overall. I thought they played pretty well especially when they pulled away in the second half but the big story to me

Adam is that Steve Kerr went with the starting lineup of

Steph Curry Drew Holiday, Devon Booker, LeBron James, and Joel Embeed.

And I'd bet that had Kevin Durant been healthy,

he's still dealing with this calf injury,

he probably would have started for Devon Booker.
