We're looking at Proverbs chapter 31 this week. And today we're still in the very first paragraph.

We're reading about the instruction that a mother gave to her son. Her son was going to be the king,

King Lemuel, and when he became an adult, he would go on to teach others the things that his mother had taught him when he was still a young prince. We think that perhaps this king was King

Solomon, and if so, then his mother would have been Bathsheba. And she had learned some

things the hard way. As a result of her illicit relationship with King David, Solomon's father,
