Captain Tom in a heartwarming honour. He turns 100 today and so he's an honorary colonel of the

Army Foundation College in Harrogate. That's's an honorary colonel of the army foundation college in harrogate that's their

first honorary colonel also two fly pass army air core helicopters and a spitfire and a hurricane as well

and he raised 29 million pounds bloody brilliant. Absolutely bloody brilliant.

So well done to him.

And he got a personal letter from the Queen.

He's also been presented,

represented with his Second World War Defence Medal

ahead of next week's VED celebration.

And along with the usual cake and the champagne,
