Hello, this is one of those episodes where we tried to reveal statistics using bargain

basement sound effects. Here it goes. The figures for the growth in the economy were out today

unveiled by Rishi Sunak and it shows that the UK economy grew by 4.8% between April and June.

However, the economy is still 4.4% smaller than it was before the pandemic.

It's going so well. But this goodish economic news comes against the

backdrop of reports of tension between the Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Boris Johnson, which of course the

Chancellor was asked about by our economics editor Fais Lislam.

We work very well together and we united and ensuring that our economy recovers as quickly and as strongly as possible.

That's my focus and today's figures show that my plan for jobs is working.

And Boris Johnson versus Rishi Sunak's been a bit of a theme for the last few weeks. My favorite episode of it was a poll in the male newspaper on Wednesday which pitted the two men against each other, and all sorts of things like leadership

and good in a crisis, and best of all, who would you trust to fix a wobbly shelf? Boris Johnson was the choice of 7% of people.

And Rishi Sunak was the choice of 44%.

All that's missing from that is a proper name to describe their relationship, like when the

tensions between Gordon Brown and Tony Blair were known as the TBGBs.
