Well, hello, my friends. How are you today? This is Sally Clarkson and I'm sitting in my little

couch in my room, in my living room, looking out on a beautiful day here in Monument, Colorado.

And I love what I get to speak about today. I am pretty excited because tomorrow I have the privilege of having my four grandchildren,

precious Sarah, my oldest daughter, her husband,

and we will all be together for almost 10 days.

So I have been getting out all of our old toys and puzzles and sticker books and stuffed

animals and dolls with dressy clothes that I had when I was a little girl and books and

anyway, a little rocking dinosaur, which is really funny,

little tables and little chairs. I am getting myself ready to say welcome to my grandchildren when

they get here so that when they walk in, they will feel like it's part of their home.

It's just another way that I get to talk about what we're going to speak about today.

But anyway, all that to say, I'm so glad you joined me, and this is one of my favorite subjects.

And we are going through my book, Well-Lived, because I just felt like it's so important for us to ponder what kind of legacy or history we're going to leave. Everyone, every person leaves some

kind of a legacy and it's sometimes it's a good legacy and sometimes it's a bad legacy. So no matter who you are, you will leave a legacy.

You will leave either cultivated or broken relationships.

Or you will leave a place where home felt like a welcome, which is what I'm talking about today, the place of welcome.
