Hello, my lovelies. How in the world are you? This is Sally Clarkson, as you know,

and I just got home from being gone off and on for almost seven weeks. I was in the UK at first for an event, and then I was in France, and then I was in Oxford,

with my Joel and Sarah and Thomas and the five kids.

And then I got to go to a wonderful home that one of my friends shared with me.

She was not there at the moment,

and I got to have a little home to invite my kids and friends over to for about a week

as a part of her graciousness. And then I got to go to London to visit my precious, wonderful joy.

And it's been really a time to reflect, a time to figure out my season.

What do you do differently when you're almost 73 years old?

What do you need to do differently as you move into from babyhood to toddlerhood to the golden

years I call them when children are 5 to ten or eleven years old when they're

learning and curious about life and responsive and then you go into the preteens and teen years

with hormones and all sorts of changes and then from there you go into the young adult years

where your children perceive that they

are going to go out and take the world and then you get to get into the young adult years when

they've moved beyond the collegiate years and they're seeking a job and they're wondering if

they'll ever be able to afford a car, a house, all the things.

So, anyway, I've been thinking a lot about seasons.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to read you some of the posts that I wrote today, but also I have other things to tell you.

It was around 42 years ago, my precious daughter, Joy, entered the world.

We've been praying for one more child after several miscarriages.
