Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Why hello there my friends, this is Sally Clarkson and this is Tea Time Tuesday. I am just

so delighted that you joined me here. I hope you will grab a cup of tea in your favorite

mug or a cup of coffee and that you'll take a time just to gather yourself to breathe

in a little bit of peace. And just to be with me, have a chat with me. I love the fact

that as I'm looking up and researching Tea Time quotes that so many of the quotes come

from authors, people who required civility in their minds and hearts and lives. So George

Orwell said Tea is one of the main stays of civilization in this country. So evidently

if everyone would stop for tea, we would have a much more civilized country. But anyway,

no matter what it is, I really do believe that to stop and take a few moments, to clear

your brain, to center your heart, to decide not to be angry or irritated, to give the Holy

Spirit time to speak to you. I think that Tea Time can be very civilizing. As I was with

Miss Tea Cup and we were reminiscing about breakfasts that we ate out on our deck and

our Colorado home that looked out over four centuries and toward the mountains of Colorado.

And we really love, as many of you have read the life giving table, we love breakfast

for dinner, lunch, or breakfasts any time of the day. But I got tickled because we found

this picture together of I think it must have been my birthday. We celebrate birthday

breakfast. That was a really fun event for us. And I think Joel has become the hash brown

maker. So he often makes us breakfast for dinner, but here in Oxford. But anyway, on this
