Thanks so much for joining me. Hello my sweet friends this is Sally Clarkson and I am so very glad you joined me today. You find me snuggled in to an overstuffed chair near the most beautiful old window in an old Victorian house looking out on these trees that are just

dancing in the in the breeze and they are bright yellow and

anyway it's it's such a lovely place I'm in a in my daughter Sarah's home

Many of you know Sarah we have such fun together and we kind of keep our private life private so that we will be able to just enjoy life here a little bit.

But I do want to tell you, for those of you who are waiting for Sarah's book.

My daughter, Sarah's book, is coming out next Tuesday and we will be celebrating her and I'm hoping sometime in the next couple of weeks we will actually have her on my podcast.

So that'll be a lot of fun.

But we're trying to take life as it comes with me having just launched a book and her launching another one

And so much more going on we thought we're just going to pace ourselves and do it when we can. We would rather spend an hour talking and

chatting and telling secrets and being together then remembering oh yeah we should

do a podcast so I promise that we will be doing a podcast soon.

But as you know, many of you might be new to this for me,

but I, for just the last couple of years and it's just been such a privilege

I have lived between Oxford and Colorado. I received a visa from a church for one year

and another church for four years and to work here and I mentored PhD students as well as mentoring

sweet women in a women's Bible study.

And so I had two different groups and

got to take care of my grandchildren

one day a week and got to be with my older children.
