How you doing now that we are right in the heart of training camp here. And we are officially kicking off the preseason tonight with the Hall of Fame game.

Oh, couldn't be more fired up.

You know how many bad DFS lineups I've already put in that are going to win nothing, you know, when, uh, Quentin, Quigin, Quentin Tegarino or whatever, you know, but a Brevin Jordan, actually scored a touchdown the playoffs. But I mean my goodness I've got a lot of I've got a lot of, I've got a lot of bad line of

ready to go.

But I'm excited for kickoff, man.

I'm fired up.

I love it. And before the show, we were talking about, you know, how much time and how much of our lives we dedicate to this stuff. And it's because we love it so much. And you know when you see us during the preseason spent this much time.

Like I do takeaways.

I watch all the preseason games and people in my life are asking me like why are you watching the preseason it's like fourth string guys and i'm like yeah you wait until november and december when some of these fourth stringers are on the team and they're actually meaningful for fantasy and that's when we'll be getting the the wins from all of that work that we're in in August. But let's get rolling here. So I want to pick your brain. I want to see where you are with this stuff. Feel free to mention specific players or groupings, but overall, what's your general strategy for drafting tight ends this year? Yeah, so the timing is perfect because I just, within the last week or so so finished my last article as part of the ultimate tight-end guide

It was like 30. I cut it down because Mark Twain says you know if I had more time I would have written you a shorter letter

Right so I did cut it down that's in the draft guide, but I can give you my general strategy this year. I'll tell you the number one thing. I'm not taking the first tight end off the board in most cases. I think there's enough guys that could be the top tight end that you can get better value later. Not to mention, isn't it a terrible feeling, Justin, when you take the first tight end of the first quarterback and then another one doesn't go for like two rounds? Yes. Like it is horrifying. And I just don't like that feeling. And I don't, like, as, you know, Sam LaPorter was good last year and he was great for a rookie. But if you take all the tight end seasons over the last decade or so and sort them by points per game. His season was like

29, right? And touchdowns are a big part of it. So I personally am not going to be the one that

takes Leporta. I don't mind taking any one of the top five guys for sure. And honestly,

six or seven for me, as long as I get a good value. And if I miss on that, then we're fine because we just fall
