Spanish on this special day.

Valentine's is a great time for a quickie, a Spanish quickie.

In this episode, you learn how not to scare off your Latino or Latina date by saying,

I love you the wrong way.

Because depending on whether you use Tequero or te amo, you might be setting yourself up for romance or for a

restraining order. Are you ready for a quickie? Yes.

So Valentine's Day is coming up and you might be tempted to say I love you in Spanish, but hold up.

In Spanish, I love you can be translated as tequero or te amo and they are not the same thing.

They actually express different levels of love.

Let's start with te quiero. Repeat after me. Tequero.

Tequero means I love you, but it's not necessarily romantic. We,

Latinos, use it a lot with family members. Tequero, Papa, or with very close friends.
