Games that we should have played, but we haven't.

Welcome to the Dice Tower, a podcast about board games and card games, and especially the people who play them.

On today's show, we have some good old-fashioned board game carnage with a new tale of board gaming horror.

Jeff tries to scare us, we answer questions from the mailbag, and we fess up to our top 10 games that we should play, but haven't.

I'm Eric Sommer, and joining me now, the Citizen Kane of board gaming, Tom Vassel.

You know, there's probably some reference here that if I had ever watched this movie, I might know.

Well, I've never watched it either, which is my point, is that it's, you know, Citizen Kane is often considered the pinnacle of cinema,

and I haven't watched it because, well, partially because the ending has become such a cultural touchstone,

and has become just an element of pop culture, the Animaniacs talked about it.

I feel like I sort of would know where it's going, and I know I'm wrong.

I know that it's a fine piece of cinema, but I just haven't had any desire to see it, just because I know where it's going.

That being said, if you haven't seen Star Wars, go watch it.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to watch it either. Maybe I will, I don't know.

I shouldn't say I won't, because you never know.

But I also have any desire. No people will say that.

Eric's it was a pinnacle of cinema, but the pinnacle of cinema, as we all know, was Avengers Endgame.

Okay.

And I know this because when an Avengers Endgame ended, I said to my kids, that experience was so great.

If I never see another movie in my life, I'll be okay.
