Bonjour and welcome to our first edition of 2013, and I am so excited to share today's feature.

It's a recording of a wonderful presentation by the lovely Julia Butterfly Hill.

And it's based on her wonderful, wonderful kind of activism efforts around the idea of what's your tree. You may remember she's the

And so I recorded this last week and I really feel like it was one of the most powerful

So I was over the moon to let this be our very, very first podcast for 2013.

I'm just kind of reaching out and letting my lovely readers know kind of where I was with a revamp to the blog.

switchup would be good. And so that's kind of what I'm reaching out for. And so my idea is that in

January, I'll just kind of dabble and explore a few different things. You know, I find that some of the

blog posts, they take, you know, quite a bit of time, say,

And I'm like, to what end, you know, in what way is this really helping support the world
