Tranquility Dejure, August 8th, 2011.

Bonjour and welcome to the 221st edition of Tranquility DeJure.

I'm recording from our New York City, oh so tiny apartment on 14th Street that we've rented for the week.

So my apologies for the heaps of background noise.

And one other thing is while recording this with Jessica a few weeks ago,

there was a random beeping noise that happened on occasion.

So just a heads up, if you hear that, my sincerest apologies,

I don't know where it was coming from, but just wanted to give you the heads up. And also

wanted to share just a snippet about my journey so far. So we arrived on Friday, smuggled Louis the

pug up here via the bus and have, this is actually the first time

I've opened my computer since we arrived.

And it's been an amazing journey, tons and tons of flea markets and lots of exciting dining.

And there's the horns.

And amazing yoga, of course, and fun meetups.

And one meetup that's happening tonight that I want to invite all New York City listeners to are those in surrounding areas is 7 p.m.

We're going to do a fun gathering at 228 Thompson Street, and the name of the place is called

The Dove Parlor, and you can find a link to it in the show notes and also in a blog post from

earlier today. Anyway, it should be really fun. There's happy hour specials and just a way to connect

with some

blog readers, fellow yoginis, fellow tranquilistas, et cetera. So I hope you can make it.
