Bonjour and welcome to the Bicentennial episode of Tranquility D'Jour.

0:15.4

So, very, very excited.

0:18.4

I know it seems like I open many podcasts like that, but I'm just very excited,

0:22.7

I have to say, to be celebrating 200 episodes with you. And I'm beyond grateful for your

0:29.9

listenership. You know, I was pondering back in our very first episode took place in Mexico

0:35.6

at a friend's wedding back in, I believe it was September

0:38.6

of 2005. So we're five years later, and it's crazy to think, too, that the blog started

0:45.0

six years ago in October, and then Tranquil Space started 11 years ago in October. So this is a

0:52.3

month of anniversaries and celebrations. So I want to just say a big thank

0:56.2

you for joining me. And I debated and debated how to utilize the 200th episode and kind of what

1:04.4

to present, what to share, what to chat about. And I really appreciate all of your suggestions,

1:09.2

and I'll definitely be keeping them in mind for

1:11.8

future podcasts. But I decided over the weekend to sit down with Bo, who many of you have

1:19.0

heard about and listened to and no produces this show and just have a little dialogue with him.

1:26.8

And of course, Louis the Pug is here on my lap. And then we thought kind of sending it out midweek would just be a fun change. And also we were in a slight state of exhaustion for the past two nights. I was going to say, I'm going to have to call you out on this. Which is kind of the real truth. We were exhausted. There was no way we could have gotten this out on Sunday. Let's be real here.

1:45.1

But the hope was. And then we were like, okay, Wednesday night it is. So here we are. And it's exciting to be here with you. Yeah, we even built a fire. I mean, I know you can't see this on the podcast. But we have, trust me, we have a fire going. And that sound was Kimberly's thumb splint. She's healing up nicely. Yeah. I was just tightening it. So this is exciting. I get to take over the podcast for the first time in 200 episodes, which is kind of fun. And every 100 episodes, you open yourself up to scrutiny. Right. So I think that's kind of cool, too. So you're going to have to wait everyone until episode 300 until somebody else. Maybe me. It might be me. I might be interviewing you, but I don't know. Who would you rather have interviewing you right now? We'll put in a request our episode 300. I don't know. I think you're pretty good.

2:52.1

Oh, I haven't even started yet. And you're easy. I mean, you're just like you're so accessible. You're here. Well, no, okay, put all that aside. Who would you, if you could have anybody interviewing you right now? This is going to be a long podcast. Oprah Winfrey. Oprah, did I see that? That's a, that's a fair. seems like a great interviewer.

2:51.6

I haven't watched her show in years, but when I used to watch it a lot, I always loved it. I think this is the last season. Yeah, so I guess I should start watching. It'll be a lot of reruns. Yeah, after that, I'm sure. And she's got her network coming. coming sound. Well, that was an exciting first question. Mark that off the list.

3:24.3

All right. So the first few questions I have for you are actually about the show itself. And then, for those of you playing the home game, I'm actually going to ask a few questions about your philosophy after that. And then I'm also going to ask some interesting questions about you as a person. And these are all like we so have not rehearsed these. Oh, no, no, no, no.

3:25.2

Yeah.

3:25.9

Trust me. There's no way she got to see any of these ahead of time.
