Today's guest, Sandra Adorno, began her photographic career at 60 years of age.

She received the gift of a photo workshop from her daughter who thought

it would be a great experience that they could share together. It was a transformative

experience that eventually led the Brazilian-born photographer to enter the world of fine art

photography and book publishing. Her latest book, Aguas de Oro, which means waters of gold, is her love letter

to the beaches of her hometown in Brazil. Her ethereal images are intimate and personal

It's very nice to be with you also. When I opened up your book, I was really, thank you. When I opened up your book, I was really amazed at the work. I really loved it. And then when I found out more about your story, I was even more eager to speak with you. I know you've had the chance to talk about your work and your career this far,

but I want to know a little more about your life before you picked up a camera, because I know you started really getting into photography when you were 60, but what was your life before all that?
