This is a body and X and and this is The Candid Frame.

When I started this podcast 11 years ago, there were just a handful of people who were producing regular educational content on photography.

Now, between podcasting and YouTube, you have hundreds of people doing unboxing videos, camera reviews,

or Photoshop tutorials. And as the recent demise of Popular Photography magazine proves,

the internet is the resource most people turn to to learn more about photography.

And while I've checked out many of these other podcasts and

YouTube videos, I tend to gravitate to those people who I feel express a sincerity and an

honesty about sharing their love for photography. I don't want to spend time watching or hearing

content from someone who I wouldn't want to be

spending time with in the real world. I feel that way about Jamie McDonald, who along with

his partner Mike Benning, are the hosts of the Mirrellus Minutes podcast. They are both

Olympus Trailblazers, and though their tech focus is obviously on Olympus equipment, they share their

joy and passion for photography in a way that it doesn't make much of a difference what brand

they're using. Most importantly, Jamie is a great photographer and a person who has created a great

body of work even while maintaining a normal nine to five job. Jamie is the kind of man

that makes wonderful work and is really successful in making things happen. Well, Jamie, welcome to the
