Summary

Recently, the Los Angeles Center of Photography dedicated a weekend to the genre of street photography. The weekend included an exhibition, a workshop and a symposium which featured seven street photographers. For this episode, you’ll hear from five of them, each of whom practices street photography in their own unique way. Last weekend, I participated in a special event at the Los Angeles Center of Photography.

During a weekend dedicated exclusively to street photography, seven photographers presented their work

house. I was really honored to be among some very talented people, some of whom you'll be

hearing from in a bit. What was fascinating to me about the day was the unique approach practiced

by each photographer. Most of the photographers who presented

photograph in Los Angeles, and so we often spend time in similar communities and areas,

but our images can and are amazingly different. It served as a reminder of how photography

is such a personal expression of who we are and how we see.

Now, some of these photographers will be familiar to you, as I've had the opportunity to

interview them in the past, but some I haven't, but I'll be remedying that really soon.
