Before we start, I'm excited to announce the release of something new from TCF.

I've just completed producing an e-book called Photo Essentials, a guide for

understanding and mastering the key features of your camera. In this 59-page e-book, I cover what's

often missing from your camera's manual, the when and why you might want to use a particular

feature or control. The book covers exposure modes, metering, white balance, focus control, flash,

and the difference between JPEG and raw.

Unlike a lot of material that's out there, I provide a real context

as to when those features and controls can make a real difference in your photography.

Along with the book, I've created over three hours of streaming video lectures that complement each chapter in the book. In these videos, I use my own images to reinforce the ideas

and concepts that I talk about. It provides you a sort of an over-the-shoulder experience

that you usually only get when you're

attending one of my workshops.

The idea behind the production of the e-book and the accompanying videos is to help expand what we do at

TCF.

The revenue we earn from this will provide us the opportunity to improve the show by increasing

our access to photographers from all over the world.

It's also going to help us to take the next step with our video content, which I've

recently started sharing on our YouTube channel.
