Hey, Father. It's been too long. Glad to have you back. Yeah. I mean, a lot of has happened since the last time we chatted.

I know that we've been looking forward to doing this particular podcast, so I'm finally,

we're glad to jump into it.

That's right.

And this is the last day of the year.

So we're going to jump into Catholic prepping to get you ready for 2022.

I think some people hear end of the liturgical year year and they think it's kind of just a little priestly pious game, but Catholics

really did and should see this as the last day of the year. So we're recording on Saturday,

and I'm actually going to upload this on Saturday 27th of November 2021. So tonight begins Advent. And if you go to the Latin Mass tomorrow,

you're going to hear for the epistle, Romans chapter 13 and Luke 21. And I looked at these

readings this morning, knowing that we were going to do this podcast on prepping. And so I decided

to share this with everybody, kind of get you ready for tomorrow. If you happen to listen to this

podcast on Saturday night tonight, this is Romans 13 that you'll hear in the epistle for the first Sunday of Advent

tomorrow morning. Brethren, understand, for it is now the hour for us to rise from sleep,

because now our salvation is nearer than when we came to believe. The night is far advanced.

The days at hand, let us therefore lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk

becomingly as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in debauchery and wantonness,

not in strife and jealousy, but put on the Lord Jesus Christ. So I'm not going to give a little sermon here,

but I will say that what you can hear in that reading, I guess this is a tiny little fur arena,

but what you can hear in that reading is to really prepare. But there's a hope in it. It's not a

prepare for darkness. It's actually prepare for the light. And then Luke 21, at that time,
