This is TCE Theology and Current Events Number 31, the Spirit of the Antichrist and the False Prophet.

Doesn't sound like a very good way to start your weekend, but like a lot of my podcasts, we're going to start with the bad news and get to the good news at the end.

Well, you know, I started looking around at all the heresies in the Catholic Church today, or rather heretics in the Catholic Church or who claim to be in the Catholic Church, because we know the Catholic Church can have heresies, but I realize they all have something to do

with the body of Jesus and the human body. Sure enough, I noticed that such heresies are the spirit

of the Antichrist, according to 1st John. Now, like I said, a lot of my podcasts often have the bad news at the front and then the good news.

So what we're going to do right now is see what heretics in the Catholic Church and those

outside the Catholic Church, technically they're actually outside the church, are teaching.

And the second half is going to look at what true priests of God did they teach.

We're actually not going to look at like traditional

Latin mass stuff. So, rest assured, people who aren't even the traditional world should be able to

identify with the spirit of the Antichrist and the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Now, we have to remember

that even in the first century when the Apostle

John lived, there were already many Antichrists, he said. But the spirit of every Antichrist,

and especially the last one, would be found in what he wrote in 1 John 4. He said,

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.

For many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this, you know the Spirit of God.

Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.

And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God.

This is the Spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming, and now is in the world already.

It's 1. John 4.1 through 3.

Notice again, the false prophet will be identified by a denial that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.

Now, that doesn't just mean once.
