Hello, my name is Father David Nix. Now, real quick, you can probably tell by the name of this podcast,

0:11.8

something about medicine. I just want to give you a quick warning. This podcast really isn't too much

1:20.6

But I do want to tell you a little bit of my CV. So let's go way back to when I was a teenager.

1:25.6

You know, I went when I was 15 years old to start volunteering in the Children's Hospital of Denver in their emergency department when I was about 15.

1:34.2

I remember I spent my 16th birthday in a liver transplant in that same hospital.

1:39.4

Later after that, I graduated Boston College premed with a bachelor's in theology.
