Hey everyone, it's Jonah. So this month we're revisiting some of our favorite episodes and letting you hear some bonus footage from How Did We Get Weird? And today we are very happy to bring you an episode we did a while back with Michelle's honor from Japanese Breakfast. Vanessa, you remember this one?

0:16.2

Yes, I absolutely love this episode. It's one of my favorites. We talk about VHS tapes, but we also really get into music class. I maybe burn one of our music teachers from growing up. And we talk about a bunch of really fun stuff. She was absolutely fantastic. And I know we're both really big fans of hers too. And I think

0:39.5

people really enjoyed this episode, even if you've already heard it. And also be sure to subscribe to

the podcast so that when we release bonus stuff like this, you always get it. And we hope that

0:50.9

We could talk about this thing that used to happen when I was at S&L, which is, well, let me back up because this is a nostalgic podcast and this story is based in nostalgia.

1:40.8

When we were growing up, everybody used to call me Jonah's little sister. Do you remember

1:44.7

that? I don't remember that because, like, I don't think I heard that reference as much, probably.

1:48.3

Right, because I guess it was referenced towards me. It would be like your sister. Yeah. And it would

1:52.2

be like when I was, like, walking in the hallway at school or something, people would be like,

1:55.5

that's Jonah's little sister. That's how all your friends talks. And I always thought it was cool, though, because I was like, yeah, whatever, it's whatever.

2:03.7

And then once I got on SNL, when you would come visit, people would be like, that's Vanessa's brother.

2:10.6

However, here's where the twist comes in.

2:13.0

Because you were such a cool music guy, whenever the bands would come, they would usually know you,

2:17.8

or they would often know you. And they'd be like, that's Jonah's little sister again.

2:22.1

And I loved that I was back to being Jonah's little sister when I was at SNL. Yeah, that was

2:27.2

nice for you. I mean, I felt like I had no real status at SNL unless you were actually physically
