Summary
In this week’s episode of The Sports Gossip Show, Madeline and Charlotte thank everyone who’s listened so far, because the show has surpassed 500,000 downloads! They couldn’t do it without all of your support, so please keep listening and telling your friends.
Then they dive right in, because Taylor Swift wore an interesting outfit to the Chiefs game, where she watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce tie a Chiefs’ record (this prompts a discussion about cake at work and performance reviews). Taylor and Travis also posed with tennis star Frances Tiafoe, who was at the game with his tennis player girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield. Madeline and Charlotte dive into the lore of Taylor and Travis at the US Open (also, someone should send the Sports Gossip Show to Wimbledon next year, just saying). Travis’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, said a few things that raise the question: what’s the etiquette on friends post-breakup slash being in weddings in your 20s?
Madeline and Charlotte give the latest Aaron Rodgers update (keep this man employed!). Then, they talk about how the Auburn men’s basketball team had to turn a plane around on the way to a game because two players got into a fight. Speaking of fights, NBA stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown got into a “childish” fight…or was it? The sports gossipers also provide an update about Tom Brady’s vlog. Plus, more evidence for the theory about when he found out his ex-wife, Gisele Bunchen, was pregnant.
The gals close out the show by psychoanalyzing LeBron James’ dreams and explaining why Duke University needs him to play for them, followed by a quick update on the DeMar DeRozan/Drake feud, which involves the owner of the Sacramento Kings. Oh, and Freddie Freeman got a cat.
