His first social enterprise, Change Heroes, mobilized 15,000 people from 80 countries around the world to to fund hundreds of schools, water projects, libraries, girls scholarships and more for 200,000 people. He recently co-founded an impact travel company called Journey333 whose goal is transforming the world’s largest industry (travel) into a vehicle for sustainable impact and personal transformations.

So sure 9-10 startups fail I get that and a lot of people say that don't worry 9-10 fail

I was like I didn't plan on being the 9-10 you know my investors were were betting on me being the 1-10

and calling them all up and feeling I just felt so much I felt

like I disappointed people I felt ashamed that I'd failed I felt like I

disappointed people I felt like I'd let them down and that was the hardest part for me

Because I have always been really sensitive to what other people think I've always cared far too much what other people think

So you can imagine being a people pleaser, being a, you know,

success addict, someone who's always been done well, and then not just failing, but I'm talking like

skidding on my face failing, you you know and then I mean call I

run up and be like by the way I just failed and because I failed you're losing your

25 grand or you're losing your 250 grand or whatever it is that you put in those

calls were just so, you know, devastating.

And what was incredible about is that some of them, the guy who put in $250,000,

I actually a guy put in 350 grand he put

it more than anyone else he was like just get up dust yourself off move on to the next

thing you know you gave it your all good job you made an impact in the world and you know I believe in you for your

next venture you know which was incredible and then you go to the people that put in a couple

people that put in ten grand were just all over me like like white on rice and

making me feel ten times of, let's say,

what their actions made me feel 10 times worse than I had already felt.
