Happy to have you along for the ride today. Just give you a breakdown. This hour is going to be a

normal talk show hour. Next hour, I am welcoming an author on, and I'm going to selfishly talk about

one of my favorite subjects which is the

tonight show starring Johnny Carson and his his glory days on TV and a lot of behind the scenes

because Mark Malkoff the author of a new book Love Johnny Carson is going to be joining us.

I'm very excited. I've been a listener of his podcast, the Carson podcast, for years, and he reached out to me.

Somehow he got my information. And, you know, so we're going to talk about that in the one o'clock hour.

I feel like a lot of people long for those days of Johnny Carson's monologues and his dry, quick wit,

and, you know, it's kind of showbiz of yesteryear.

So a bit of a reprieve from the news of the day, which incidentally brings us to the news of the day.

And I'm not sure why this is the news of the day because it was kind of the news on Monday.

Nancy Pelosi is retiring in 2027. What's that about? Correct me if I'm wrong, Jared, but Monday I was in the seat where you are

right now behind the board. Aaron Chadbourne was sitting in the studio in WGAN, and there was a

breaking news bulletin saying that Nancy Pelosi was retiring. You are correct, sir.
