I want to talk about something that is near and dear to all of us

and it's stunning to me how good big government is at messaging. And here's what I mean.

We all pay taxes and we all just do it.

I mean and nobody questions it.

I'll never forget a conversation ahead with my grandfather, Donald Mealy,

in I believe it was South Florida, have been New York might have been I was very little maybe I was five so probably was still New York

We walked in to a convenience store and he's looking to buy something he starts complaining about

taxes and he said something that really jumped out at me at a very young age.

Why can't they just say how much it really is? It's a good question. Like I

wanted a bag of Fritos. Pretty sure I wanted some Fritos. And the Fritos were 15 cents.

And he said, well how would just... And the freedoms were 15 cents.

And he said, well, how much is it with tax?

They should just tell us.

And he started going off on this rant about taxing, taxation.

Sam, can you imagine Frito's 15 cents?

I cannot imagine anything being 15 cents.

And he was mad because another penny was going to go on there or two pennies are going to go on there for tax.
