Hello, it's John Gibbons from the Amphiel Wrap and I just want to do a short intro before you hear from Phil Dutton, who is VP of Ticketing and Hospitality at Liverpool Football Club. Just to explain a little bit context about the releases and sort of what's happened since we recorded it. So a few weeks ago, you will remember there was an update from the club on

ticketing and it was on how tickets were purchased or but also about how tickets were

distributed and forwarded on and changes to the number of friends and family and also European

tickets. So there's about five areas that the club in consultation they said with the supporters

board had come up with on changes to

ticketing for next season now a lot of fans had questions we had questions we spoke to our

listeners and subscribers and they had questions as well so we wanted to put them to Liverpool and

Phil Dutton kindly came in and we talked through all of the changes on that and we focused

the show very much on that and I know a few people want us to speak to him on on other matters

as well but we felt it was better to focus just on these changes for next season.

We were going to put it out a week or so ago.

It was actually due to go out on the day

that Diego Jotter died. And obviously, then, it didn't feel important and it didn't feel

right to be putting an interview out on ticketing on that day. No was in the frame of mind our

side, and I'm sure you guys weren't in the frame of mind to sort of listen to it so

we we shelved it for a while but now feels like a good time to put it out because people are obviously still interested in it

people are still curious and we want to help explain some of these changes a little bit more and help

understand them better ourselves,

but also hopefully be an education piece, if you like, for you guys as well on what all these

changes actually mean. The reason I'm doing this is I know that a couple of things have happened

since then with regard to ticketing, particularly around 13 plus members. They've happened since the interview, so obviously

I haven't asked Phil about those because we didn't know about them yet. So I know a lot of you
