Summary

Cam Jordan of the New Orleans Saints wants taunting to be allowed in the NFL. I'm with him. I'm sure most fans are as well. Speaking of the NFL and rules, I've got a few things that need to be changed.

Let us celebrate, he says.

I'm a big Cam Jordan guy.

He's kind of the last remaining dinosaur of the New Orleans Saints when the New Orleans Saints had their kind of second Renaissance, right?

0:19.7

They had that Renaissance initially with Sean Peyton from 06 to about 13, right?

0:26.3

Then you got to that stretch and I guess it was 14, 15, 16, where they went 7 and 9 every

year and the defense was historically bad with Rob Ryan.

0:35.4

And then the new Renaissance started after two losses in 2017, things turned around, 17, 18, 19, 20, that four-year stretch

there where the Saints were back and should have gone to a Super Bowl, didn't end up

going to a Super Bowl.

If the Dickhead Titan doesn't drop a pass against the Bucks, maybe they beat the Bucks

at home in a playoff game in that stretch as well.

They lost to the fucking Vikings twice in the playoff that stretch as well.

But that was like the apex, the second Saints Renaissance.

And it was amazing.

And I've always been a Cam Jordan guy, a likable guy, good community guy. His podcast, he had a podcast. And I forgot, was it called trust, something trust issue? I forgot what the podcast was called. But he did a podcast with Mark Ingram for a while. And some of it was really good. One of the best episodes of a podcast you'll ever hear was the episode, and I believe it was him, Mark Ingram, and James Winston, and it was phenomenal. So if you ever get a chance to check that out. I think it's called Trust. Let me look. I'll look it up for you just to make sure. But I think it's called, because I want people to listen to this because it was funny. It was called, uh, uh, I, it was called trust level. Yes, trust levels with Cam Jordan and Mark Engram. It was a good podcast. They had some good interviews. I think eventually things like that run out of steam. If you, you know, the guys doing it, get bored interviewing their buddies, so I don't know how long it went, but I know that I was laughing my ass off at that podcast. If you ever want to check it out, at least the one with James Winston. A couple of weeks ago, actually, speaking to James. Mark was talking about how he wanted the Saints to bring back James Winston. And as we've discussed on here many times, the Saints could have ridden with James Winston and not paid Derek Carr and probably have gotten the same results for a lot cheaper. And now they have no quarterback of which to speak. I would be totally in favor of them going to get to getting James. They're going to suck one way or the other. So you might as well give it one shot with James because he's a likable guy. He's a nice guy. The city loves him. He loves the city. Give it a shot. Good dude. Like I understand the guy has a history. Who knows what he did or didn't do? You know, he stole some crab legs or whatever. And he makes jokes about that. like he was throwing crab legs out of a, like a float at Mardi Gras, whatever it was,

2:53.6

or during the Super Bowl. whatever. And he makes jokes about that. Like he was throwing crab legs out of a, like a float at

2:52.3

Marty Gras, whatever it was during the Super Bowl. And there's this allegation that he inappropriately

2:57.4

touched somebody in an Uber or something. And the guy seems like a doofus, but I think that

3:02.5

he seems like a truly nice individual. And there aren't a lot of people like that. Like I,
