And baseball reinstates Pete Rose.

But we begin today with the Boston Celtics,

again blowing a double-digit second-half lead

and losing to the

Knicks last night to fall behind three to one in their series. Potentially worse for the Celtics

was their best player, Jason Tatum, going down in the fourth quarter with what might be an Achilles

tear. Wilbon, you were there. What did last night mean for this series and for the Celtics future?

Tony, it was monumental and certainly in a way that we didn't want to see.

Sitting there watching Jason Tatum riving like that in the pain on his face and in his voice.

And it was just awful. And there's so many players, Tony, as you and I have noted, we talked about some of them.

You know a lot of them.

There are so many of them, former players, sitting courtside, they feel they instantly knew.

Some of them have had Achilles tears.
