The NFL draft is here, and this is Zach Jackson and friends.

I am Zach Jackson.

As I record this, we are about 12 hours from the NFL draft starting.

This will be a short podcast.

This will be a podcast intended to further feed you junkies, but also if you're just

waiting into this, because maybe you have something going on in your life other than

arguing about offensive tackles.

Welcome in either case, but I just want to get you catch up get everybody caught up easy for me to say

i need to nap before tonight's draft um on a couple things i'm hearing on a couple strong opinions i

have and then just the general tone of talking with people and reading and listening and following this for months.

Everybody knows who the first pick is going to be tonight and there's still mystery in the

next picks, which adds even more mystery to the intentionally mysterious Cleveland Browns

who have two first round picks, who have a lot of needs and who have options,

maybe because they don't truly love the most obvious fits to those on the outside,

maybe because they're planning a full-on tilt to the future,

or maybe because they're just going to pick whoever they want and do things

their way, because look at the results and they still have jobs. So let's see how that all goes.

Again, eight minutes on the clock tonight. So it will move faster than previous first rounds.
