Before we get into today's episode, I'd love to read some listener mail in regards to last week's episode, stories from South and Southeast Asia.

I read a story from Rini in Indonesia who wanted some insight on what happened to her sister when she was younger.

So Mary writes, I can give some clarity upon why the girl's older sister doesn't really remember

anything. Mainly when you have a supernatural experience as a young child,

you either don't remember what happened or you block it out of your memory. I hope this helps.

That's a really good point. And Sharon writes, I think Rini's sister really met the Jin.

The Jins aren't something unusual for Indonesian people, especially the Muslims here.

I don't know much about Jins, but I think the Jins in the story were attracted to Rini's

sister and they wanted to take her with them, maybe forever or just a certain amount of time.

I'm not sure though, but in most cases, that's what they want.
