This week we're going to be joined by my best friend Vera and she is going to give us

a crash course about the tarot.

I'm also going to be asking about a personal question and she is going to give me a reading

in this very episode, so it's going to be really cool.

But before we dive into some questions, let me just explain my personal relationship

with Tarot.

When I first learned about the tarot deck in high school, I was super drawn to it.

I was always the kid who tried to get their friends to play with a Ouija board and I really

loved Halloween, so when I learned that there were cards that could give insight into

the future, it totally fit my Witchie vibe.

But I didn't learn about how practical the tarot was until I met Vera.

When I was in college, I wasn't really honed in on my spirituality.

I was pretty busy playing soccer, studying and drinking with a fake ID.

So when I met Vera, we became friends and it always interested me how she used her

cards.

She pulled them for herself as a daily ritual.

It wasn't like she went to a fortune teller and she held onto every single word that

was said to her, she simply used the cards to tap into the universal energy around her

and gain some insight.
