What's going to happen this week with tariffs? Many of President Donald Trump's advisors aren't even sure.

The only thing certain so far is that he'll make the announcement tomorrow from the Rose Garden.

It's still unclear whether the president will target specific countries, a select few,

or hit all imports with a sweeping tariff as high as 20%.

If the blanket 20% tariff is the case and other nations retaliate,

Moody's analytics chief economist Mark Zandi warns the U.S. economy will likely plunge into a recession,

killing millions of jobs. Democratic senators Tim Cain, Amy Klobuchar, and Mark Warner say they'll

force a vote to try to undo Trump's tariffs on Canadian goods. And some of their Republican

colleagues might join them. CNN's Lauren Fox has more.

There are a couple of Republican senators who have voiced concerns.

Senator Rand Paul is helping sponsor this resolution.

And Senator Susan Collins and Senator Tom Tillis have both signaled they may join Democrats

in voting for it.

Now it's non-binding.

We don't expect that the House is going to take this up.

But obviously, that would be a huge signal to the White House.

A massive wave of job cuts at federal health agencies started today.

This morning, some employees were sent emails telling them their jobs were gone,

and others were unable to get into the building when they

arrived at work. It's not immediately clear how many employees have been given notice today.
