Markets opened in bare market territory Monday. That is a 20% decline from a recent peak. This followed a historic route in Asia and massive losses in Europe. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen,

said the EU is ready to negotiate with the United States. We stand ready to negotiate with the United

States. Indeed, we have offered zero for zero zero tariffs for industrial goods,
