Donald Trump has been talking about the rest of the world,

screwing the United States and the need for really stiff tariffs for decades.

I mean, going back to the 1980s, you talk to me about it.

And now, in his second and final term, he has a chance to impose this

as he did yesterday. And it seems like the world is going crazy. The markets are going down.

He has his defenders. He has his defenders who say it's about time that the U.S. of A hit back at these other countries and, you know, level the playing field. And at the same time,

you've got a lot of economists, virtually all Democrats, a lot of media people, some Republicans

who say that this is insane.

That he has ignited a global trade war that could plunge not just America, but the rest of the world,

into a deep recession.
