Do you guys remember during Donald Trump's first administration when everything was Infrastructure Week? Like every time that man got in trouble, it was like, oh, what could we do

0:59.1

to distract the people from what I just did that I don't want them to pay attention to? And he was like,

1:03.6

oh, I know. We could do an Infrastructure Week. This was literally the concept that Donald Trump

1:08.5

invoked whenever the failures of his leadership

1:11.1

became too glaringly obvious to ignore. In fact, in 2019, there was an article out on CNN called

1:59.2

and laying down pipes and all sorts of

2:01.6

things for plumbing and doing what was necessary to bring rural communities and communities

2:05.7

that were not yet connected to broadband fully online. And CNN in this article goes through

2:11.3

all of these moments where Donald Trump was getting into trouble, something bad was happening,

2:15.9

and so he declared another infrastructure

2:17.7

week. And Infrastructure Week was really a running joke in that administration because there were at least

2:22.9

seven times, again, seven times that Donald Trump chose to focus on infrastructure, never actually
