It's time for your daily crunch for Wednesday, starting with three big headlines.

Reports were coming in that a number of Meta's top social apps, including Facebook,

Instagram, and say it ain't so, threads were all experiencing an outage on Tuesday morning,

O-M-G.

When loading the apps or websites, users received an error message.

Oh my goodness, that something went wrong and to try again later,

or in the case of Facebook, they're taken to a logged out landing page but are unable to sign in even when using their correct password.

The troubles seem to have started at some point after 10 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday. According to reports on social media and various

users submitted issue trackers like Down detector, Meta commented to the

outage on X saying, We know some people were having trouble accessing our apps earlier.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your patience

while our teams worked quickly to resolve.
