The CEO said in a recent interview that woke capitalism is great for their brand and the right

thing to do for society. He said this during a podcast about a week ago and he said the

corporation's image and bottom line is at stake. Wow. Really? The image is at stake.

Wasn't it interesting? We've had this conversation how many times over the past multiple months.

About there used to be a time where corporations had the ultimate check in balance and that was

the consumer. No matter what the actual interworkings of the entity was, the ultimate driver

was the dollars and cents. And yes, of course, some corporations might lean a certain way or

might donate to certain candidates or whatever. But when it was all said and done,

turning a profit, having a profitable, well respected business by as many consumers as possible

was all that matters. And there was almost some sort of, I guess the right would be diplomatic

immunity that these corporations had in regards to our beliefs don't matter. We are totally immune

from telling you our beliefs because it's Michael Jordan famously alluded to. Yeah. Republicans buy

shoes shoes too. And something happened along the way. And I maybe it's this ESG credit score.

Who knows exactly what it is where there is no longer a check in balance on these corporations.

And as we know, we've talked about other than where our man Bill Dimmery tells me to go,

I'm not a guy who actively engages in the stock market because of stuff like this,

because on a whim, some marketing directors, personal bias, or hatred for a college experience,
