Hey everyone, welcome to reality TV where half-ups for episode 3 of season 9 of the amazing

race Canada. This will be Jessica Lees here to talk about everything that happened in this

incredibly eventful episode. But before we get started, I have a very important question and you

need to ask, Dan Heaton, will you co-host a podcast with me? I don't know. I think, can I take a penalty?

Do I have to? Is that okay? Or, you know, I don't know. Is there some other way out of doing this?

Or I can't do it. Sorry, Jess. I got to walk away. I mean, this is amazing race Canada.

You could take all the penalties you want. You know, we'll dig into it, but I mean,

better than Australia where they would have given them like 10 minutes. So at least they got a

big penalty. I mean, there's no, maybe there is Canada is not having it this season, Jess.

They're not messing around. It's pretty, it's pretty shocking giving how, given how Cavalier,

and we are going to do a deep dive into the history of numerous reality franchises, not just

amazing race Canada as we talk about how this double task quit, this historic double task quit has

affected amazing race Canada. What is the precedent for this and how we think it's going to affect

things going forward? So for a not a elimination leg, I would say this is shockingly eventful.

Yeah, and they did make the task a bit harder. Well, some of them, like half of a detour,

but they made some of the things harder and even the one of the quits was kind of deceptively hard,

but nothing. This was not on par with like when the team, you know, was in, and the water was

flailing in, and it was like, you know, the rescue or some of those types of ones, or people

were just so scared, or you think about the US where the two, the two women, the hooker players

who just couldn't do either. That kind of quid or that kind of penalty, I wouldn't call that a

quick, because there was no chance we could do it. These were not that hard. These were not

physically exhausting. I mean, one of them was a fear, which I got fooled. And then the other
