Uplifting Wayfm. This is the Wally Show and recently we did a podcast with

Tara Lee Cobble. She's the host of the Bible Recap. It's a daily Bible reading

plan to read through the Bible in one year and like it's really good. She has a

podcast herself that goes along with this and kind of explained to my wife's

doing it and I get to listen to the podcast whether it's great. So I wanted to

know, like as believers, we know we're supposed to read our

Bibles, but I think you have to want to want to do it. So I asked her what

would she say to someone who isn't sure about taking on reading the whole Bible?

Well, I would say I relate to a reluctance to want to read scripture, like a

fear that you're going to fail, a fear that you're not going to understand it.

Maybe you've tried and failed and you said something just now, Wally, that I

think is interesting. You have to want to, but whenever I first read it, I

confessed to my pastor. I said, I don't want to read it, but I want to want

to read it. I like that. So how do I get from the want to want to to the

want to? And he just said, ask the Lord to meet you there. Ask the Lord to

change your heart to give you that desire. And so every day I would be like,
