Welcome in the IC Daily. It's Thursday, March the 12th, is the official start of the ACC

tournament. The quarterfinals are today in Charlotte. Carolina, of course, will play Clemson

at 930, maybe. If we're lucky, I said 930, Greg. But let's be honest. This is when the ACC tournament really gets fun. You've got

some good matchups. You've got a Florida State team that's surging. It'll be in the early game

against Duke on the evening. But now you have Carolina and Clemson. It's finally here. It's been

three or four or five days since Carolina lost to Duke.

Let's get into it.

Clemson, a significant injury.

We'll talk about that off to top since everybody talks to injuries this time of year.

Your thoughts on how that affects this ballgame.

Can I say one thing about Florida State before we dive into this?

This is your show.

You can do whatever you want.

We harp on this all the time.

But guard play is so important.

And yes, you have to have good everything if you want to compete for final

fours and national championships. You can't have a weakness in your starting lineup. But so much

of college basketball is predicated on the ability of having someone who can dominate the ball

and you can go get buckets when the team needs it and who can control the pace of the game.

If you've watched college basketball in the ACC the last, I mean, not quite two months the season,

I mean, on January 24th, Florida State was 8 and 12, 1 and 6.

And since that time, they're 10 and 2.
