Why don't we start right there?

So from the very beginning, I couldn't fathom, nor can I believe that Bill Belichick

accepted the UNC job.

Like all summer long, my take was, I will believe this guy is the Tar Hill head coach

when I see him on the Tar Hill sideline.

When I see the hood on the Tar Heel sideline with my own two whys, then I'll accept

that he's the head coach there.

Because it never made sense.

It never seemed real. It always

seemed like an impending disaster. And that's why I've been all over this for months and months now.

That said, like, you knew it would go badly, but I never saw it going this badly. I never saw

this much of a dumpster fire. I mean, I didn't think it would go well,

obviously. But did anybody really think it was going to go this badly? Things are going

so great for Chapel Hill that he and UNC had to put out this hilariously bogus joint statement yesterday.

A.D. Baba Cunningham, quote, Coach Belichick has the full support of the Department of

Athletics and the university, end quote. Hood, quote, I'm fully committed to UNC football and the program we're building here.

End of quote. Well, if by Coach Belichick has the full support of the athletic department,

you mean, we hope this dude hits the bricks and takes his kids and his girlfriend and his cronies with him stat and doesn't let the door hit him in the ass on the way out, then sure.

Of course, he has their full support.
