Summary
Although most people have heard about yoga, a science practiced for over 6000 years, not many people know how beneficial it can be to enhance physical health and, most importantly, mental wellness. Practicing yoga with the proper guidance is so powerful that it can help people overcome trauma. With only a few limitations depending on the student's age and some specific medical conditions, almost anyone can practice yoga; it only requires being present and letting go of competition, expectation, and judgment.
In this episode, I have an informative conversation with Beth Shaw, Founder and CEO of YogaFit Training Systems Worldwide. She is also the author of four books, entrepreneur, public speaker, and business founder. We talked about the benefits of taking safe yoga classes, learning through teaching, and seeing quick results with a consistent yoga practice.
Beth kindly shared a bit of her background and how she decided to become a yoga instructor and create such a successful and impactful company. She also talked about the different programs she offers and the various applications and benefits students can get.
Tune in to Episode 82 of Rejuvenaging, and listen to Beth's great advice over this millenary discipline's practice and how it can enhance longevity.
