I'm reminded of, I think about four different boys in my life when I was growing up at four different stages and areas of life.

But they all shared one thing in common.

But I think I'll go with this kid I met in fourth grade.

This guy named Moses, well, let me say his name correctly, Moises.

As mentioned many times, I grew up in the part of town that was uh very chicano latino

mexican with uh a huge amount of gang activity now we were in fourth grade when we met

when i switched schools to go to that school and the the difference between my generation and these gen Zs,

you can't compare fourth graders now to fourth graders then, not because I'm on some O-head stuff,

but because we lived in a different time. Fourth grade is at the beginnings of recruitment when you start getting looked at

for the peewee gangs you probably somebody's little brother you've been going to the kickback

somebody thought it was funny to give you a joint you know i'm saying um we have been fighting

for a long time you didn't already had to knuckle up with somebody by this time

by fourth grade i know that seems like you look at your 10 year old niece right now and you think

that fool is on youtube uh playing roblox we wish you know we just it was wild now that being said the six seventh and eighth graders that were

before us boy they had it way worse than we did but either way moissess was well on his way to

banging the set you know but he was one of my really good friends.

We met the first day.

He befriended me.

He was funny.

We would walk home together because his house was on the way to my house, right?

I swing by on the way out.
